I was born in Brora and regularly visited Gordonbush and marvelled at the view of Loch Brora and Carrol Rock.
I have a painting on my wall of this very view.
Every visit home involved a run up the Gordonbush road to see the stags and admire Carrol Rock and the loch. If these pylons are allowed they will ruin the landscape.
Please reconsider the path these pylons will take. We are told we will get cheaper electricity. This won't happen. When the dam was built in Lairg this was the lie told to the people of East Sutherland and this lie is being used to make another blot on the landscape. Let future generations enjoy an unsullied view of Loch Brora and Carrol Rock.
Don't let me have to look at a painting on my wall to enjoy the Loch and Caroll Rock.
