As a person living and loving my life in Scotland I accept the responsibility that includes me in making sure this stunning small country is not savaged by outrageous destructive plans imposed on the beautiful wild Scottish landscape and small communities living contentedly within it.
These plans by large energy companies mainly SSEN have no bearings on necessity for the common good. They are trashing thousands of acres of natural wild areas - destroying peat bogs and mowing through forestry and agricultural land. Disrupting wild life habitats of birds and native animals and literally killing them by the thousand from the whirling wind turbines and enormous pylons planted on their century old flight paths. Seeing pictures of these beautiful creatures lying dead on the ground beneath their mindless slaughterers brings home how totally unnecessary all this so called Net Zero propaganda is about.
Death for the environment and the communities these planners seek to destroy all for MONEY and GREED for those who are allowing this to happen. The more one looks into the depth of these 'plans' the more ludicrous they become. Scotland is a renowned world wide landscape of stunning formations created over millions of years and mankind comes in with his technology to interrupt the natural vista and sky lines of this beautiful country for the benefit of who?
