There is evidence to show that pylons can affect both mental and physical health as well as destroying Scotland’s natural landscape.
Scotland does not require the pylons.
If another country requires Scotland to provide electricity to them this should not be at the cost of the destruction of our natural heritage for future generations. Those who require the electricity should pay for underground cabling and safer less destructive ways of carrying electricity to point of need.
Our landscape needs to be protected from profiteering exploitation.
