The UN have recently said small nuclear power installations would be less harmfull than what is proposed here.
With over 200 planning applications put in for windfarms & associated infrastructure, some of which is yet to be proven at full operating scale & others that are some years away technologically. To view this one application in isolation would be foolish in the extreme. When these companies have criss crossed Scotland with pylons and cables, destroyed habitat, wildlife, woodlands, tourist industry, jobs in that industry with allied ones and a countries way of life for electricity that may never keep up with demand.
Just like roads - build more - more traffic to fill them. We have just had several days of wind "outage", the batteries being proposed will only last a few hours not several days. What is going to provide the very expensive electricity when all these turbines are stilled? Never mind the damage to land that will be caused by the pollutants in just the turbine blades, glassfibre strands from breakage & repair processes will coat the land but the farmers won't be there as we need electricity more than food!
As for paying you to produce NOTHING is nothing short of criminal, something the government seems hell bent on stopping in disabled & benefit claims currently. Just like the English water companies you want us to keep paying extortionate bills for your non production & ruination of our country.
Disgrace - way and far beyond that now.
