Presumably this route only comes out as ‘best’ in terms of finance. It certainly doesn’t make the grade when measuring environmental impact .
Since moving to Sutherland, Loch Brora has become my favourite destination for a lochside walk or as a place to showcase to any visitors we have staying with us. The rock above the loch is just such a stunning natural location. Neither pylons nor turbines should be allowed anywhere close to such natural beauty.
