No local powers

We all understand the need for national infrastructure. There is a greater need but it is tarnished and exploited by companies that are there for their own profit. The process should ask us what we think and try to come to a decision that is mutually agreeable.

There is nothing in this process that takes the local issues and concerns seriously and where a mutual agreement can be met. Current planning Regs were set up when there was National Boards that oversaw the national needs.

The procedures should have been updated to ensure that these privatised companies take local views into account and not just their bottom line.
