The proposed pylon line and substations are grossly out of proportion for the Far North of Scotland and there is no need for them. Our existing export infrastructure could export a lot more than we can already produce and yet turbines are often turned off because of grid constraints throughout Scotland and England.
The electricity produced here has nowhere to go and this new pylon line will only make the situation worse by encouraging even more wind farms. We destroy all of our valuable environment solely for private profit and greed.
Very sad.
